Monrovia, Liberia - The Ministry of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP) reminds all civil servants and employees across the Government of Liberia, that the National Identification Number is a mandatory requirement for receiving compensation from the Government.
Few months ago, the Government decided to enforce this mandate. However, the MFDP has observed that a substantial number of civil servants and employees across various ministries and agencies have not yet met this requirement, and clearly not willing to do so. The Ministry hereby notifies all concerned that come December 31, 2019, no civil servant, employee, or even pensioner will get salary or compensation payment from the Government, without the National Identification Number.
Accordingly, we hereby encourage all concerned to make efforts and ensure that they obtain their National Identification Cards from the National Identification Registry and provide their National Identification Number to the Human Resources Sections of their respective institutions of employment, on or before December 31st, 2019 to avoid the problem in processing their salaries.
Monrocia, Liberia - Liberia’s Minister of Finance and Development Planning Minister, Hon. Augustine Kpehe Ngafuan, has acknowledged the pivotal role security institutions play in the improvement of the country’s economy.
