Liberia’s Islamic Community Bid Farewell to Former Finance and Development Planning Minister;Gather in Mass and Showered Him with Countless Praises and Prayers!
Monrovia, Liberia - The Liberian Islamic community under the banner Consortium of Muslims Youth Organizations in collaboration with the National Imams Council of Liberia on Saturday, April 30, gathered in mass at the Monrovia City Hall honoured, offered series of prayers and bid farewell to former Finance and Development Minister Amara Mohammed Konneh.
President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has told outgoing Finance and Development Planning Minister, Amara Konneh, that he demonstrated intelligence and the competence of a professional in the discharge of his many duties as an official of the Liberian Government. According to an Executive Mansion release, President Sirleaf made the statement on Thursday, April 28, 2016, when the Government of Liberia honored the outgoing Minister at a Special Investiture Ceremony held at the C. Cecil Dennis Auditorium, Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Monrovia.
