Monrovia, Liberia - Liberia has been designated to host another session of the delocalized ECOWAS Parliament Meeting in Monrovia from 27th to 31st August 2018. In April 2017, a similar parliamentary event was held here from 10th to 14th April. In preparation for the holding of the event, a high powered ECOWAS Technical delegation is expected to arrive in Monrovia on Thursday, August 23rd, 2018.



Monrovia, Liberia - The Minister of Finance and Development Planning Hon. Samuel D. Tweah, Jr. on behalf of the Government of Liberia and the African Development Bank Country Manager Mr. Orison M. Amu have signed US$10 M as budget support to the Government of Liberia in order to meet its balance of payments obligations, as well as driving the objectives of the Pro-Poor Agenda for Prosperity and Development (PAPD).
Monrovia, Liberia - The Liberia Macroeconomic Policy Analysis Center (LIMPAC) at the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning with support from the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) has completed circle one of its capacity building training program. The first circle training, which lasted over the period of three weeks, focused on the usage of MS-Word for report writing and Ms. Excel for data calculation and analysis attracted trainees and employees from different departments and units of the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning.
