Monrovia, Liberia - The Government of Liberia represented by the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP) and the Ministry of Health (MoH) have signed a US$59.1 million Pact - “Fixed Amount Reimbursement Agreement (FARA)” - with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Monrovia, Liberia- The Government of Liberia through the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP)’s Aid Management and Coordination Unit, with technical support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), today hosted a multi-stakeholders’ consultation intended to increase effectiveness in aid management nationwide.
Finance and Development Planning Minister, Amara Konneh says, investing in the agriculture sector of Liberia and mechanisms to enhance taxation as well as a proposed austerity measures are key interventions needed to restore the nation’s micro-economic stability.
The Government of Liberia (GoL) represented by the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning in the presence of the Minister of Justice on Monday February 8, 2016, signed two separate financing agreements with the European Union (EU) for projects totaling almost US$64 million.
